Locked On Bills Hit - Quick Takes on the Buffalo Bills

REACTION: The Buffalo Bills Just BLEW a Game They Had No Business Losing

Episode Summary

The Buffalo Bills suffered their first loss of the season, falling 29-26 to the New England Patriots in the first AFC East matchup at the new Highmark Stadium. This one got away from Buffalo. New England entered the game without Christian Gonzalez and Christian Barmore, yet the Bills couldn't capitalize. Instead, Drake Maye and the Patriots produced 405 yards of offense and exposed some major concerns with Jim Leonhard's defense. Josh Allen wasn't at his best either. Allen finished with 253 passing yards, one touchdown and an interception while New England found ways to limit his impact as a runner. The Bills also continued having turnover problems after they survived five giveaways against the Chargers. There were positives. Keon Coleman was outstanding with six receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown. James Cook averaged more than six yards per carry, but Buffalo only gave him 12 attempts. Meanwhile, DJ Moore's injury remains something the Bills need to monitor after another limited performance. Buffalo is still a good football team. But after allowing 405 yards, losing the turnover battle again and failing to take advantage of a depleted Patriots defense, it's fair to pump the brakes on the Super Bowl talk. This was a game Buffalo should have won. They blew it. #BuffaloBills #BillsMafia #JoshAllen Photo Credit: Mark Konezny IMAGN Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!
