The Buffalo Bills are 3-0 entering Sunday's AFC East matchup against the New England Patriots, but Buffalo's secondary could be one of the biggest keys to avoiding an upset. Drake Maye hasn't started the season the way New England hoped. That doesn't mean Buffalo can take him lightly. Bills fans saw two very different versions of Maye against Buffalo last season, and eventually the Patriots quarterback is going to have a game where things start clicking again. Buffalo can't let that happen Sunday. Jim Leonhard's defense has shown progress through the first three games, but the secondary remains one area that still appears to be adjusting to the new defensive system. This is an opportunity to take another step. New England's passing game has questions. The Patriots are searching for answers around Maye, and their running game hasn't consistently provided enough support. Buffalo needs to take advantage. Make Maye uncomfortable. Don't give New England easy explosive plays. Force the Patriots to consistently drive the field against this defense. The Bills survived five turnovers against the Chargers and still improved to 3-0. Clean that up and get a strong performance from the secondary, and Buffalo has an opportunity to take care of business against its AFC East rival. #BuffaloBills #BillsMafia #NFL Photo Credit: Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!
